WE ARE CELEBRATING 25 YEARS OF GEOCACHING BY HOSTING A BOARD GAME THEMED MEGA! A LIFESIZE BOARD GAME IS BEING CREATED TO HIGHLIGHT THE MANY MEGAS THAT CAME BEFORE BAMARAMA! COME JOIN US FOR A DAY OF AMAZING FUN!

This years theme is board games! The main event will feature a lifesize board game that will feature and highlight the best Mega's in the game of Geocaching since The first Mega-Event GeoWoodstock 4 (GCRRC6) in Texas on May 27, 2006. Plus this year we will be featuring a twist on earning prizes with our BAMABUCKS! BAMABUCKS can be earned throughout the day of our event and can be used to win prizes at our prize table! Below is the many ways to earn your BAMABUCKS and more information on the game itself. 

THE GAME: Using the space provided for our event, we will be constructing a lifesize board game. We will be using Adventure Labs to highlight all the popular Megas around the world of Geocaching! You as a cacher can play the game as a normal AL lab or you can roll the dice for more interactive fun. This game will allow you to rack up on BAMABUCKS and the longer you choose to play the more you can earn! 

CHECKIN: Sign the event logbook and in doing so you will recieve your first of many BAMABUCK starter packs. All packs are completely different. Some may have more BAMABUCKS than others! You will also receive your scavenger hunt game for the day!

SCAVENGER HUNT: Visit all the locations required on the scavenger hunt list. Once finished head to prize/games table to turn in your scavenger hunt card for you guessed it more BAMABUCKS! 

GEOCACHES: Caches of all difficulty levels will publish the day of the Mega! Inside the caches will be different game pieces. Take only 1 from each geocache and bring them to the prize/games table to exchange for more BAMABUCKS!

PRIZE TABLE: Just like a typical arcade you will see all the prizes available here. Use your BAMABUCKS earned and exchange them for the prizes you see. Trackable, Geocoins, Swag and also if you save enough you can take home our Grand Prize (Worth over $1,000 USD). 

BUILD YOUR OWN GAME BOARD THEME GEOCACHE CONTEST: We want to see your creativity. Find an empty breaker box (or some sort of electrical box) and create your own board game themed Geocache! Bring the cache with you to our event! We will have prizes and judges for all different categories! Then at the end, we will have everyone take back a geocache different than the one your brought and hide them all over the world! 

Here is a schedule of the day of events planned for BAMARAMA 2025

10:00AM - Checkin At The Park Gazebo. Pick up your scavenger hunt and BAMABUCK starter packs! 

11:00 AM - 1:00 PM: Lunch Time! Our Boy Scouts Local Troop will have snacks and drinks available while the concessions stand will be open for all your food needs! 

2:00 PM: Build Your Own Geocache Judging Begins and we start awarding ribbons for all different categories! 

2:30 PM: Photo Op Attention Game Board players! It's time to gather for our event photo. Thanks to JohnnyCache205's drone, we'll capture this memorable moment. We will stand right in the middle of the lifesize board game!

3:00 PM: Checkin at the Gazebo offically closes. Gather near the Gazebo for after photo for announcements including BAMARAMA 2026 Theme and Dates!

3:30 PM: Discover all the amazing geocaches built and who won in what categories. Geocachers who brought a board themed geocache, will start to exchange for the caches they bring home. 

3:45PM: Last call to redeem your prizes in exchange for the BAMABUCKS you earned!

4:00 PM: The event offically comes to a close, all vendors pack up and we break down and prepare for BAMARAMA 2026.
