The Geocachers of the Bay Area welcomes you to Silicon Valley to help celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Geocaching
A lot has happened since our Cachin’ the Bay Mega-Event in 2023! We are excited to invite geocachers from around the world to join us for a day of geocaching fun at the same wonderful location, the beautiful History Park, in the heart of Silicon Valley. We have reserved the site already so we can offer you the great location that we liked so much.
About the venue: History Park is located at the south end of Kelley Park at the corner of Senter Road and Phelan Avenue. Through 32 original and reproduction homes, businesses, and landmarks, History Park reveals Santa Clara Valley’s past. Complete with paved streets, running trolleys, and an old-fashioned ice cream shop, this 14-acre site offers the charm and ambiance of times gone by.
Celebrating 25 Years of Geocaching History at History Park San Jose
We have two exciting new activities planned to celebrate 25 years of geocaching.
The first activity will be a “25 years of geocaching in the Bay Area” passport activity.
The second activity will be an Adventure Lab “Geocaching is Born: The GPS Stash Days”looking at the very earliest days of geocaching.
As at the previous Cachin' the Bay, we anticipate having a number of clever gadget caches to amuse and challenge you. Educational talks will be held for those eager to learn.
Stay tuned for updates to this page as the event is almost a year away right now. We will have more ways to celebrate 25 awesome years of Geocaching.
