Die Waldweihnacht in Sorghof ist ein stimmungsvolles vorweihnachtliches Freiluftfest mit lebender Krippe, Musik und Schauspiel. Sie ist ein echtes Highlight im Landkreis Amberg-Sulzbach und bekannt für ihre gemütliche, festliche Stimmung im Wald mit buntem Licht und fröhlichen Stimmen.
Datum: Samstag, 20. Dezember 2025
Uhrzeit: Event von 15:30 bis 17:30 Uhr,
Programm (ohne Gewähr): ab 16 Uhr Treffen der Hirten am Krippen-Feuer, 17 Uhr Einzug der Hirten, anschließend Krippenspiel und Live-Musik
Ort: Wald hinter dem Feuerwehrgerätehaus in Sorghof, Vilseck (Auerbacher Straße)
Eintritt: Der Eintritt ist FREI. Am Eingang werden Spenden gesammelt. Die Spenden kommen sozialen und caritativen Zwecken zugute.
Logbuch: Während des Eventzeitraums werden wir uns zwischen Eingang und Lagerfeuer aufhalten (je kälter der Abend, desto näher am Feuer...). Zu erkennen sind wir an einer gelben Warnweste mit dem Aufdruck "GPS-Vermessung" (siehe Bild) und einer Weihnachtsmütze. Die Waldweihnacht erfreut sich größter Beliebtheit! Rechnet mit vielen Besucherinnen und Besuchern, besonders ab 17 Uhr. Je später der Abend, desto höher die D-Wertung uns in der Menschenmenge zu finden.
Eingeladen sind alle Geocacher aus nah und fern. Bei einem geselligen Treffen wollen wir uns austauschen und fachsimpeln.
Bei Bratwurst, Punsch/Glühwein und weiteren Köstlichkeiten können wir gemeinsam das nahe Weihnachtsfest einläuten.

The forest Christmas in Sorghof is an atmospheric pre-Christmas open-air festival with a live nativity scene, music, and theater. It is a real highlight in the county of Amberg-Sulzbach and is known for its cozy, festive atmosphere in the forest with colorful lights and cheerful voices.
Date: Saturday, December 20, 2025
Time: event time from 3:30 p.m to 5:30 p.m.,
Programme (subject to change): from 4 p.m meeting of the shepards at the camp fire, at 5 p.m. procession of the shepherds, followed by the nativity play and live music
Location: forest area behind the fire station in Sorghof, Vilseck (Auerbacher Straße)
Admission: admissionfree. Donations will be collected at the entrance. Donations from the event will go to social and charitable causes.
Log book: During the event, we will be located between the entrance and the bonfire (the colder it gets, the closer to the bonfire..). You can recognize us by our yellow safety vests with “GPS-Vermessung” printed on them (see picture) and our Santa hats. Please bear in mind, that it's a very popular event, so it can get quite crowded especially from 5 p.m. onwards.
With fried sausages, punch/mulled wine, and other treats, we can celebrate the upcoming Christmas season together.
