GLÜCK AUF 2025 – von Anton und Mathilda   Es war ein sonniger Frühlingsmorgen vor genau 25 Jahren, als Anton die Grubenameise und Mathilda die Kuh sich zum ersten Mal begegneten. Anton war gerade dabei, ein weiteres Abenteuer zu starten – eines dieser neuen Geocaching-Verstecke tief im Wald zu finden. Mathilda wiederum war neugierig auf die seltsamen Menschen, die durch ihren Bauernhof gingen und kleine Schätze suchten. Sowas hatte sie noch nie gesehen! "War das eine neue Freizeitbeschäftigung?" fragte sie sich. Als dann Anton zufällig über Mathildas Weide marschierte, fanden die beiden schnell heraus, dass sie dieselbe Leidenschaft teilen wollten: Geocaching! Von diesem Tag an wurden sie unzertrennliche Freunde. Anton, klein und flink, war perfekt darin, die versteckten Geocaching-Schätze an den schwierigsten Stellen zu finden. Mathilda hingegen, mit ihrem imposanten Körperbau und ihrem guten Orientierungssinn, war die perfekte Begleiterin, um über Hindernisse hinwegzusehen und den nächsten Weg zu weisen. Gemeinsam erkundeten sie Wälder, Felder und manchmal sogar Höhlen – immer auf der Jagd nach dem nächsten Schatz. Nun, 25 Jahre später, haben sie beschlossen, dass es an der Zeit sei, ihre besondere Freundschaft und das Jubiläum ihres Lieblingshobbys zu feiern. Geocaching ist ebenfalls 25 Jahre alt und das ist für Anton und Mathilda Grund genug, eine große Party zu schmeißen! Sie planten alles: Eine Schatzsuche für ihre Freunde, leckeres Essen – von Mathildas frischen Weidekräutern bis hin zu Antons selbstgemachter Honiglimonade – und natürlich eine große Karte mit all ihren Lieblings-Geocaching-Orten.

Was euch hier erwartet Hier eine kurze Übersicht der möglichen Programmpunkte: Wir wollen mit euch das 25-jährige Geocaching-Jubiläum feiern. Aus diesem Grund laden euch Anton und Mathilda ein, den Lebensraum von Mathilda besser kennen zu lernen. Sicherlich könnt ihr auch Mathildas Verwandte treffen, die euch alle herzlich willkommen heißen werden. Für Abwechslung durch Spiel, Spaß und reichlich Informationen ist gesorgt. Nur gute Laune müsst ihr im Gepäck haben! Es wird sicherlich noch das eine oder andere Geocaching bezogene Spiel aus den vergangen Tagen unserer Eventgeschichte geben und auch einige Kleinigkeiten für unsere Minicacher werden wir vorsehen. Für eine gute Versorgung mit Speisen und Getränken, natürlich auch aus der Region und sogar aus der direkten Umgebung, wird durch erfahrene Caterer gesorgt. Doch der wichtigste Programmpunkt ist wie immer das gemütliche Zusammensein!

Das reine Loggen des Events ist natürlich für Jedermann am frei zugänglichen "Logbuch" möglich. Wir freuen uns auf euren Besuch! Glück Auf, GCV Ruhrgebiet e.V.

 

GLÜCK AUF 2025 – about Anton and Mathilda It was a sunny spring morning exactly 25 years ago when Anton, the mining ant, and Mathilda, the cow, met for the first time. Anton was just setting off on another adventure — hunting down one of those new geocaching spots hidden deep in the forest. Mathilda, on the other hand, was curious about the strange people passing through her farm, searching for small treasures. She had never seen anything like it before! “Was this some new kind of pastime?” she wondered. When Anton happened to wander across Mathilda’s pasture, the two quickly discovered that they shared the same passion: geocaching! From that day on, they became inseparable friends. Anton, small and nimble, was perfect at finding the hidden geocaching treasures in the trickiest spots. Mathilda, with her impressive size and keen sense of direction, was the ideal companion — able to see over obstacles and point the way forward. Together, they explored forests, fields, and sometimes even caves — always on the hunt for the next treasure. Now, 25 years later, they have decided it’s time to celebrate their special friendship and the anniversary of their favorite hobby. Geocaching is also turning 25, and for Anton and Mathilda, that’s the perfect reason to throw a big party! They planned everything: a treasure hunt for their friends, delicious food — from Mathilda’s fresh pasture greens to Anton’s homemade honey lemonade — and, of course, a big map showcasing all their favorite geocaching spots.   What you can expect A brief overview of the event program: We want to celebrate 25 years of geocaching with you! That’s why Anton and Mathilda invite you to explore Mathilda’s habitat and get to know her world a little better. You might even meet some of Mathilda’s relatives, who will give you a warm welcome. There will be plenty of games, fun, and interesting facts — just bring your good mood along! Expect some geocaching-themed games from past events and a few special surprises for our little mini-cachers. An experienced catering service will ensure that you’re well provided with delicious food and drinks, featuring regional specialties — even from the local surroundings. But as always, the most important part of the event is simply enjoying time together!

Of course, anyone can simply log the event using the freely accessible “logbook”.
