We had an wonderful time last year hosting the Yuma Block Party, but now it is time to resume our annual Yuma Mega Event.  We have a lot of planning ahead to bring you the best that Yuma has to offer.

This Yuma Mega event takes place on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 9am to 2pm, at the West Wetlands Park (282 N. 12th Avenue, Yuma, AZ), but the fun lasts all week.  Any down time can be spent finding Yuma’s amazing geocaches.  Even in the winter, you can count on warm, dry weather for perfect geocaching conditions!

YUMA MEGA #22 ITINERARY 

Activities:

As in the past, here are some of the activities you can expect:

    • Geo-Bingo,
    • CITO Challenge,
    • X Marks the Spot,
    • Poker Run, and
    • 50/50 Donations.
  • Raffle Tickets
  • Creative Cache Display
  • Merchandise Sales and Information
  • Photo Booth
  • Meet Signal The Frog
  • Trackables and Pathtag Discovery/Exchange
  • Food Vendors

 

What to do before, and after the Yuma Mega Event:

Events: 

More than just the one-day event, we are planning a full week of events for you.  You can expect Taco Tuesday events before, and after this Mega event, a CITO event, a Flash Mob event, a local area Hike event, lunch in Algodones, Mexico, and another installment of our very popular "Discover Yuma" series where you can earn a geocoin.  These, and other events should publish about 90 days before the Mega Event, but you can make your travel plans now.

Geocaches: 

While there are numerous geocaches for you to find in the area, we are planning a challenge cache Geo-Art on the Barry M. Goldwater Range, and also plan to place several new S*W*A*G geocaches for you to find.

Adventure Labs: 

We are planning several new Adventure Labs for you to enjoy.  Expect them to be published during the week.
