Since our hobby allows not only to hide and search caches, but also to organize various types of events, the Latvian Geocaching Community has decided to offer you something more than a meet&greet event by the campfire under a crooked birch.
We want to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Geocaching together, so we are organizing an event for both local geocachers and guests from the nearest border countries.
The event program will last at least six hours and will be held in the cozy “Stargorod” premises, which, including all the available space, can accommodate enough people. The main part of the event will be celebrations, entertainment, conversations with other geocachers. Of course, you will be able to brag about your achievements within the hobby, exchange travel bugs and eocoins, enjoy food and drinks, as well as a relaxed atmosphere throughout the evening.
The main theme of this evening is entertainment and celebrating the 25th anniversary of Geocachin. After finding so many caches, so much time dedicated to our hobby, we undoubtedly deserve a break. Without going into details, I will mention the currently planned activities:
- social gatherings and conversations
- DJ performances for all musical tastes
- live music
- quiz
- various entertainment performances - both artists from outside and the cachers themselves will participate
- of course, also various types of awarding of winners
- lottery and other summations
- at the end, karaoke and other fun.
The description of the cache will be regularly improved, supplemented and clarified, as well as made more readable for geocachers from neighboring countries. As usual, you are invited to register your will attend this event so that we know what number of visitors to expect.
Perhaps a symbolic participation fee will be set for the event to cover the related expenses. Information about this will follow. In general - the event is not commercial.

Tā kā mūsu hobijā ir iespējams ne vien izvietot un meklēt slēpņus, bet arī veidot dažāda veida pasākumus, tad Latvijas slēpņotāju komūna ir lēmusi jums piedāvāt ko vairāk par meet&greet pie ugunskura zem līkā bērza.
Vēlamies kopīgi svinēt slēpņošanas 25. Gadadienu, tādēļ organizējam pasākumu gan vietējiem slēpņotājiem, gan arī viesiem no tuvākajām pierobežas valstīm.
Pasākuma programma ilgs vismaz sešas stundas un tā norises vieta būs mājīgajās “Stargorod” telpās, kuras, ieskaitot visu pieejamo platību, spēj uzņemt pietiekami daudz cilvēku. Galvenā pasākuma sastāvdaļa būs svinības, izklaide, sarunas ar citiem slēpņotājiem. Protams, varēs palielīties ar saviem sasniegumiem hobija ietvaros, mainīties ar ceļotājiem, baudīt ēdienus un dzērienus, kā arī nepiespiestu atmosfēru visa vakara gaitā.
Šī vakara galvenā tēma ir izklaide un slēpņošanas 25 gadu jubilejas atzīmēšana. Pēc tik daudz atrastajiem slēpņiem, tik daudz ziedotā laika savam hobijam, mēs neapšaubāmi esam pelnījuši atpūtu. Neieslīgstot detaļās, minēšu patreiz plānotās aktivitātes:
- saviesīga pasēdēšana un sarunas
- dj performances visām muzikālajām gaumēm
- dzīvā mūzika
- viktorīna
- dažādi izklaides priekšnesumi - piedalīsies gan mākslinieki no malas, gan arī paši slēpņotāji
- protams, arī dažāda veida uzvarētāju apbalvošana
- loterija un citas suminācijas
- noslēgumā karaoke un pārējās jautrības.
Slēpņa apraksts tiks regulāri pilnveidots, papildināts un precizēts, kā arī padarīts lasāmāks kaimiņvalstu slēpņotājiem. Kā jau ierasts, interesenti tiek aicināti reģistrēt savu vēlmi apmeklēt šo pasākumu, lai zinam, ar kādu apmeklētāju skaitu rēķināties.
Iespējams, pasākumam tiks noteikta simboliska dalības maksa, lai segtu ar to saistītos izdevumus. Par to informācija sekos. Kopumā - pasākums nav komerciāls.
