Morgen ist es soweit - die große Cheers to 40 years-Sause steigt
und wir sind heute natürlich schon fleißig am Aufbauen und Vorbereiten.
Lange haben wir daher hin und her überlegt - laden wir Euch am Vorabend zu einem Event ein?
Wechseln wir dafür die Location?
Die Antwort lautet Ja und Nein.
Alle, die am Freitag schon nach Krefeld kommen, sind herzlichst eingeladen,
die Eventlocation schon einmal zu besichtigen.
Wir sind ja sowieso da
Das erwartet Euch:
Wenn ihr mögt - Kommt vorbei, guckt euch um, klönt und genießt schonmal ein Getränk.
Macht einen Abendspaziergang zum Rhein, geht cachen, loggt den ersten Lab - all das ist heute möglich.
Programm wird es heute noch nicht geben, davon gibt es morgen dafür fünfmal so viel.
Richtig stark wär, wenn der ein oder andere Lust hat, nebenbei noch ein paar Handgriffe zu erledigen.
Es ist ebenfalls heute schon möglich Bändchen für morgen zu erwerben und seine Bestellung abzuholen.
Achtung - heute nur Bargeld-Zahlung möglich!
Ansonsten freuen wir uns einfach, dass ihr da seid und wir gemeinsam into the groove kommen!
Wo:
Gleiches Gelände wie morgen -
auf dem Parkplatz des Crefelder Yachtclub e.V. 1967 im Rheinhafen geht' los.
Bitte beachtet - das Event findet auch heute outdoor und inmitten eines Landschaftsschutzgebietes statt.
Verhaltet und kleidet euch bitte entsprechend - vor allem witterungsbedingt.
Auch wichtig: Wildpinkeln ist nicht gewünscht und vor allem nicht erlaubt!
Ihr kommt mit dem Auto:
Bitte parkt entlang der Bataverstrasse auf den Parkbuchten am Seitenstreifen.
Im Rheinhafen gibt es sehr viel öffentlichen Parkraum, da werdet ihr sicher ein Plätzchen finden!
Fahrgemeinschaften sind SEHR hilfreich um mit den vorhandenen Parkkapazitäten auszukommen.
Bitte parkt nicht in zweiter Reihe - es ist ein ganz normaler Werktag im Rheinhafen!
Mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreicht ihr uns wie folgt:
Straßenbahn 044 | Bus 831 bis "Krefeld Rheinhafen"
von dort aus ca. 30min zu Fuß bis zum Gelände

Tomorrow is the big day - the big Cheers to 40 Years party is happening,
and of course we are already busy setting up and preparing today.
We thought long and hard about it - should we invite you to an event the night before?
Should we change the location for it?
The answer is yes and no.
Anyone who is coming to Krefeld on Friday is cordially invited to visit the event location.
We'll be there anyway
Here's what you can expect:
If you like - come by, take a look around, chat and enjoy a drink.
Take an evening stroll to the Rhine, go geocaching, log your first Lab - all of that is possible today.
There won't be a program today, but there will be five times as much tomorrow.
It would be totally rad if some of you would like to help out with a few tasks on the side.
It is also possible to purchase wristbands for tomorrow and pick up your order today.
Please note - cash payment today only
Otherwise, we are just happy that you are here and that we can get into the groove together!
Where:
Same location as tomorrow -
in the parking lot of the Crefelder Yachtclub e.V. 1967 in the Rhine harbor.
Please note - today's event will also take place outdoors in the middle of a landscape conservation area.
Please dress and behave appropriately - especially in view of the weather conditions.
If you are coming by car:
Please park along Bataverstrasse in the parking bays on the hard shoulder.
There is plenty of public parking space in the Rhine harbor, so you are sure to find a spot!
Carpooling is VERY helpful in making the most of the available parking capacity.
Please do not double park—it is a normal working day at the Rhine harbor!
You can reach us by public transportation as follows:
Tram 044 | Bus 831 to “Krefeld Rheinhafen”
From there, it is about a 30-minute walk to the venue.
