Cologne Cathedral (or Kölner Dom)

The most famous landmark in Cologne. According to Wikipedia, the construction started in 1248 but did not finish until the 1880. The towers for its two huge spires give the cathedral the largest façade of any church in the world. You can see the two towers from the Cologne Central Station and across the Rhine River. 

 

About the Event 

I am visiting Cologne in December and would love to meet some local and traveling geocachers. This event should be nice and short with the optional of post-event caching.

 

Tentative Schedule:

12:00 Meet near the Taubenbrunnen in front of the famous Kölner Dom, drop off/pick up/discover trackables, and sign the logbook

12:30 Group photo with the Taubenbrunnen and the Kölner Dom, and the event ends

12:45 (OPTIONAL) Walk around Cologne, find some geocaches, and maybe take a break and have a beer!
