The Geocachers of the Bay Area are thrilled to welcome cachers from back to San Jose’s iconic History Park for another memorable event: Cachin' the Bay 2027 ~ California Dreamin'!
Nestled in the heart of Silicon Valley, this beautiful venue is the perfect backdrop for the GBA’s fourth Mega event—and we can't wait to share it with you.
When: Saturday, June 26, 2027, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Where: History Park, San Jose, CA 95112
What: Cachin' the Bay 2027 will have all the great geocaching activities that you've come to expect:
- Games and door prizes
- Gadget caches
- New caches launching the day of the event
- New Adventure Labs
- Trackable trading
- Socializing with fellow geocachers from around the world
- Side events before and after Cachin' the Bay
- Trolley rides and docent tours of the historical buildings in beautiful History Park
- Lunch options will be available, and the old fashioned ice cream shop will be open
- NEW: VIP Lounge!
- And maybe even some new and exciting surprises this time!
About the Venue: History Park is located in San Jose. Through 32 original and reproduction homes, businesses, and landmarks, History Park reveals Santa Clara Valley’s lively past. Complete with shady tree lined streets, a running trolley, and an old-fashioned ice cream shop, this 14-acre site offers the charm and ambiance of times gone by.
The Bay Area: The nine counties that comprise the Bay Area have a lot to offer—iconic towns and cities, beautiful parks and trails, incredible food, and fantastic and best of all, creative and clever hides. Be sure to leave a little extra time before or after the event to explore the region and grab a few local caches.
