OKTÓBER 2026  |  RAUTENKRANZ, SASKO (DE)  |  18:30   [DE] Eine kleine Gruppe slowakischer Geocacher macht sich auf ins sächsische Vogtland für lokale Caches und Travel Bugs und vor allem, um die einheimischen Cacher kennenzulernen. Wir treffen uns draußen am ehemaligen Bahnhof Rautenkranz. Heute ein Steampunk-„Weltraumbahnhof“ (Pension und Bistro im Bahnhofsgebäude von 1875), mit historischen Waggons auf den Gleisen. Direkt gegenüber liegt die Deutsche Raumfahrtausstellung. Rautenkranz ist der Geburtsort von Sigmund Jähn, dem ersten Deutschen im All. Kommt vorbei, tauscht Travel Bugs und plaudert übers Cachen in der Region. Wir sitzen draußen bei den Waggons; wer mag, holt sich im Bistro einen Kaffee (es gibt sogar k.u.k. Kaffeehausspezialitäten). [SVK] Skupinka slovenských kešerov mieri do saského Vogtlandu za miestnymi keškami, travelbugmi a hlavne za miestnymi kešermi a kešerkami. Stretnutie bude vonku pri bývalej stanici Rautenkranz. Dnes je z nej steampunkový „Weltraumbahnhof“ (penzión a bistro v staničnej budove z roku 1875) a na koľajniciach stoja historické vagóny. Hneď oproti stójí Nemecká vesmírna výstava. Rautenkranz je rodiskom Sigmunda Jähna, prvého Nemca vo vesmíre. Príďte si pokecať o keškovaní, pomeniť TBčka. Sedíme pod holým nebom pri vagónoch; kto chce, odskočí si do bistra po kávu (majú aj c.k. kaviarenské špeciality). [ENG] A small group of Slovak geocachers is heading into the Saxon Vogtland for local caches and travel bugs — and above all to meet the local cachers. We’ll meet outdoors at the former Rautenkranz station. Today a steampunk „Weltraumbahnhof“ (a pension and bistro in the 1875 station building), with historic railway wagons on the tracks. Right across the street is the German Space Exhibition. Rautenkranz is the birthplace of Sigmund Jähn, the first German in space. Come join us, swap travel bugs and chat about caching in the region. We’ll sit outside by the wagons; if you like, pop into the bistro for a coffee (they even do k.u.k. coffeehouse specialties).
