Bookcrossing - das ist ein riesiger, kostenloser, weltweiter
Büchertauschring. Bücher als Reisende werden ausgesetzt, gefunden,
geloggt, gelesen, wieder ausgesetzt - wie Geocoins und TBs, nur
ohne kommerziellen Hintergrund. Mehr darüber findet ihr auf
Bookcrossing.com. Das Beste daran: Man muss sich noch
nicht mal bei der Seite anmelden, um mitzumachen. Wer ein bei
Bookcrossing.com registriertes Buch findet, kann den Fund ganz
anonym mitteilen, das Buch lesen und die Rückkehr in die freie
Wildbahn wieder anonym melden.
Mit diesem Cache existiert an einem gut erreichbaren und stark
frequentierten Ort ein möglichst großer Behälter, in dem
vornehmlich Bücher getauscht werden sollen. Hier - ganz in der Nähe
der Saalburg an der B456 - kommen Tag für Tag Tausende Pendler
vorbei, überwiegend von ihrer Heimat im Taunus zur Arbeitsstätte im
Rhein-Main-Gebiet und zurück. Dadurch ist ein reger Austausch im
Cache möglich.
Um den doch sehr leicht zu findenden Cache etwas zu schützen, ist
er mit einem Vorhängeschloss gesichert. Der Code dafür ist
320. Das Logbuch ist am
Deckel des Caches mit Klettband befestigt. Über ausführliche Logs
darin freue ich mich sehr, gerne auch mit Hinweisen, welche Bücher
entnommen und hineingelegt wurden. Bitte bringt das Logbuch nach
dem Loggen wieder am Deckel an, damit es nicht versehentlich
entnommen wird!
Bitte nehmt euch nach dem Tausch die Zeit und gebt euch Mühe, den
Cache wieder so herzurichten, wie
ihr ihn vorgefunden habt. Bücher werden idealerweise
einzeln in verschließbare
Plastiktüten gepackt und im Cachebehälter untergebracht.
Dann sollte nur noch darauf geachtet werden, dass der
Cachebehälter selbst ebenfalls richtig
geschlossen wird. Macht mich auf Beschädigungen oder
sonstigen Wartungsbedarf bitte gleich aufmerksam. Ich wohne in der
Nähe und kann immer schnell nach dem Rechten sehen. Ich hoffe auf

books, and it's completely free! Books as travelers are left in the
wild or in so-called "book crossing zones", discovered, logged,

to sign up there to be a part of it. If you find a book that is
registered on Bookcrossing.com, you can log your find anonymously,
read the book and communicate the release, again anonymously.
This cache is meant to be as large a container as possible in a
well reachable and highly frequented spot, with the predominant
purpose of trading books. Here - very close to the Saalburg at the
B 456 trunk road - thousands of commuters pass by day by day,
mainly from their homes in the Taunus to their workplaces in the
Rhein-Main area and back. This way, a lively exchange is possible
at this cache.
The cache is quite easy to find, so to protect it a little bit, it
is secured with a padlock. The code is
320. The logbook is secured to the cover
of the cache with velcro. I would greatly enjoy finding extensive
logs in the paper logbook, especially with notes about which books
were removed from and placed in the cache. Please reattach the
logbook to the cache cover after logging so that it is not
accidentally removed.
Please, before you leave, take the time and make the effort to
restore the cache to the condition
you found it in. Ideally, books are
placed in individual zip-lock bags before
putting them into the cache container. Then make sure that the
cache container is also correctly
closed. Let me know right away if anything is damaged or
other maintenance is required. I live close by and can take care of
